Logan's Home!!

Wha??? Its been two years already? Lets just review the big events while Logan has been gone... Kyle and I got married, my dad and michelle got married, my mom moved to Draper and back to Fruit Heights, and I'm sure there is much much more, but those are the biggins!! Logan had never met Kyle... and this was my idea of a little humor :)

They are best buddies already... BROTHER IN LAWS

Logan had heard such great things and saw how cool Kyle looked that he got him a present, and of course he got is favorite sister one too (for those of you who do not know who that is... ITS ME!!!).

WELCOME HOME LOGAN!!! WE LOVE YOU!!

2012... Here we come!!!

We had been planning a snowboarding trip with all our "Alamo buddies" and it finally happened New Years week... AND of course Kyle, being the daredevil he is, got hurt. He landed straight on his leg... We thought his femur was broken. Besides that it was such a great weekend.

This was my first New Years outside of being a home body. Kyle broke me of the family tradish. Bitter sweet moments, but we are starting OUR new traditions.

The good thing about Alamo, NV is that you don't have to worry about a thing. You can start fires wherever and whenever, you can shoot guns almost anywhere you want, and you get away from every worldly thing there is. This is what we did to celebrate the New Year!! Neat eh?

Oh the Holiday Season!!

Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the Holiday Season... What compares? This year is a year of first for Kyle and I. Our first Christmas and Thanksgiving as a married couple. Honestly nothing can compare to this winter season of 'firsts.' Everything is so much better with Kyle by my side.

For thanksgiving, we went to my Dad's.... Him and Kyle played football with the ward and after we feasted. Happy Thanksgiving!!

One of 5 plates for Kyle :)

For Christmas, we went to Alamo, NV and it was honestly nothing I have ever experience in my life. We went to the sand dunes on Christmas Day... Who does that? Well we did... and I loved it. This Christmas taught me the meaning of Christmas more than any other. Its not about the gifts, its not about the snow... its the magic in the day. We spent the entire day, without snow, without gifts... but we spent it with the people who mean the most to us. I wasn't with my family for the first time, but I felt at home. Although I missed my family, Kyle's family has always made me feel like a part of theirs. Merry Christmas!!

Our First Tree!!! Awwww!!
Merry Christmas

We don't look real good, but I was so happy. Kyle surprised me with a drive through light show. It was so cool!!

We had our annual Temple Square Run.

We both got awesome kicks too!!

Lions vs. Broncos

Every year Kyle's mom goes to Denver, Colorado to a Broncos game, because she is honestly their number one fan. This year Kyle and I got to go because the Broncos were playing his team, the ALL MIGHT Detroit Lions!!! We stayed with Uncle Matt and his house was awesome... He had so much land with horses. Although I am allergic... I love all animals, it was such a great weekend.

Ready for the game!!

We got to tailgate with Huge Fans!! It was awesome!!

My Dad has never been to this stadium, so Kyle and I felt pretty darn good about ourselves. We beat my Dad, Ryan Laws, in something :)

All in all..... It was such a great weekend. Lions won and for Kyle's first NFL game, one of the greatest ever... Go Lions!!!

Getting Our Hike On...

As a married couple, Kyle and I are quite boring, so we decided to embark on our own little journey up the mountain to Stewart Falls. Our "couple friends" Josh and Molly Roemer joined us. The hike wasn't too hard, the tree colors were beautiful, and the weather was almost perfect. It was so great!

Josh and Kyle were really intrigued by this bees nest!! They threw a rock at it and just hoped that we wouldn't get attacked... luckily we didn't.

Josh and Kyle get really side tracked!! They tried breaking it.

This is Kyle wanting to get hypothermia...
